Personal Data Protection Notice

Unipack AD takes your data protection as a number one priority. Everything is transparent and we would like you to know when do we collect information, what type of personal data we process and what we are using it for. To ensure that we and our partners are in compliance with the newly adopted General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have established the right technical and organizational measures.

What exactly is personal data?

Personal data is pieces of information, which collected together can lead to the identification of your personal or financial status.

Data that is not directly related to you (or even though processed, it is very difficult to be determined the identity of the person it is about), for instance personal data that has been pseudonymized or rendered anonymous, is no longer considered personal data.

Does Unipack AD use cookies?

While a page from this website is loading, a Google Analytics .js script is downloaded. This script actually comes from an external server (google-analytics.com), different from the one the site is located on. When executed, the following cookies are created: _ga, _gat, _gid.

Unipack AD uses 3 types of cookies (small files that store information on your hard drive or browser). However, it is possible to browse in our website without accepting them. The initial setup of most web pages is to accept the cookies automatically. You can change your browser settings easily, though, so that the cookie storage to be disabled and you to be informed automatically prior to any cookies being saved. Furthermore, we would like to point out that if you do not save the cookies related to the functionality of the website, this may result in your inability to use our website features.

All cookie attributes serve the browser for processing, storage, sending back, as well as recognizing which website is intended for and much more. The attributes are only used to process the cookie from the browser itself, they won’t be sent back to the website.

These are cookies provided by Google Inc. (Google Analytics). They are used to collect information about the user experience on our website. We use them to collect the necessary data and statistics to improve the performance of our website. Cookies can also be used to tailor advertising to users’ interests by tracking their browsing.

What is Google Analytics:

By visiting our website, the server can store data concerning its access (date, time, page view). This data is not considered personal data, but anonymous. It is used mainly for statistics.

The web page of this site uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses the so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer, which allows for analyzing the way our website has been used. The data generated by these cookies concerning the use of the website, is transferred to a Google’s server and stored there. However, if you decide to make your IP address anonymous, Google will shorten your IP and as a result it will be only clear that you come from an EU member state. The only exception is when the full IP address is first transferred to a Google’s server in the United States and then shrunk straight away. Commissioned by the administrator, Google will use all gathered data to analyze your usage patterns so as to create a report on your browsing activity and to be able to perform other services supporting this website that are related to the use of Internet pages and the Internet as a whole. Google does not link the IP address transmitted from your browser to Google Analytics with other collected data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by configuring your browser. However, by doing so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, you can restrain Google not only from collecting data generated from cookies and connected to your browsing sessions on this site (including your IP address), but also from processing it by downloading and installing the respective browser plug-in. More information can be found here or in the General Information section regarding Google Analytics and personal data protection. We would like to point out that Google Analytics on this website has been extended by the code "gat.anonymizeIp ()" to ensure an anonymous detection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

How to delete and manage cookies?

You can delete all cookies and block their usage. Choose the browser you work with and follow the instructions:

• Chrome

• Safari

• Firefox

• Internet Explorer

If you are using another browser, follow the corresponding supplier’s instructions.

Do we disclose your data to third parties?

Due to regulatory provisions and standards we are sometimes required to disclose your personal information to third parties. For instance, in case of cybersecurity breach or misuse of our website, we will be obliged to provide your data to the authorities pursuing the case. Otherwise, your data is stored solely in our database and on our servers. Exceptions are our partners who provide certain services to us and thus would need your data in order to complete their orders or other type of services. This includes logistic companies and banks. In these cases, the disclosure of personal data is done in compliance with The Personal Data Protection Act (LPDP) and Regulation (EC) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation). The data to be transmitted is limited to the required minimum.

Security measures to protect the stored data

If we are to store your personal data, it will be stored on servers with high security levels. A few authorized people have access to this data and they are responsible for its adjustment and technical maintenance. To prevent loss or misuse of the data stored by Unipack AD, we take comprehensive technical and corporate security measures that are regularly reviewed and updated so as to be in sync with all technology advancements. Please note that due to the structure of the Internet, we cannot take responsibility for any other individuals or institutions that do not take into account the abovementioned laws and regulations for data protection and security. Bear in mind that decrypted data (even though sent by email) can be read by third parties. Unfortunately, we cannot influence this in any technical way. The user himself is also responsible for the protection of his/her provided personal data against misuse - be it by means of encryption or in some other way. Furthermore, our website contains links to other web pages. However, we are not able to check whether their maintenance partners comply with all these standards, neither to influence them.

Your right to be informed, to be able to amend, block and delete

Under Regulation (EC) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the right to be informed about, as well as amend, block or delete your personal data. If the deletion of your personal data is in contradiction with some legal, contractual, commercial or defined by the tax law time limits for storing personal data or other legal provisions, it is possible to simply block them.

Revocation of Consent

If you have agreed to all terms and condition and your personal data is already subject to processing, you may revoke your consent at any time and these changes will be applied immediately for the future.

Which data we collect and process?

It is possible to use a particular part of our website without disclosing your identity. However, if you decide to make an inquiry or place an order, we will require further information such as name, email and telephone number. You then decide whether you want to disclose this information to us. Without the required personal data, though, we can only partially or cannot at all offer the desired service for the above-mentioned cases. In connection with the requested information, data is stored on our services that will later serve for making information available on our website and for conducting security measures. This data (IP address, date, time and viewed pages) may be used for identification of the users of our website. It is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Please do not, in any circumstances, include your three names and personal ID number. Inquiries containing such personal data, either intentionally or unintentionally added, will be erased immediately by our system.

What we use your data for?

We save and use the collected personal data (names, telephone number and email address) merely to process your inqueries and consequent production orders. We store your IP address together with your order, only if there is a sufficient reason to do so. We use your email address solely to keep in touch with you, to send information in response to your inquiries or orders.

The collected personal information is processed only by contracted and authorized people keeping the required confidentiality when handling customers’ personal data.

It is your right to object to this type of data storage and processing at any time. What you can do to prevent this is simply send a request to delete your personal data from our system.

Protection of minors

Individuals under 18 must not send any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or guardians. We do not require any personal data from children and young people. We deliberately do not collect such data and do not disclose it to third parties.

Unipack AD explicitly points out that the security of the data transferred over the Internet (by email for example) may have weaknesses and cannot be fully protected from third parties accessing it.
